Neopets got me into graphics and web design. Then, I went to freewebs and got a site with my friend. We used a premade. Then, I looked of the premade's coding and made my own layout, using what I knew from neopets. After that, I slowly began to learn about html.
As for graphics, I didn't get PSP untill I knew how to code divs (which took awhile). From there I read tutorials here and any site I could find about how to make graphics. Now I just expirement with selective colouring (: I'm still learning

i owe it all to celestial-star.
it kick-started my graphic designing journey, learnt almost everything i know here.admittedly i've read tutorials from other sites and such but essentially this's where my roots are.
as for web designing, i learnt the little i know on my own by reading codes and experimenting.

I was a great fan of InuYasha and my friend inspired me into creating a website. So I did, I started with Freewebs Site Builder. After almost a year I finally commit myself into learning HTML. I read a lot of tutorials from Celestial Star, Komet Tails Designs, Aethereality, and a lot more of big graphic sites and tutorial sites.
I usually learn from other people's codes and layouts, but I don't steal them. Sometimes I ask my friend too for answers.

Yeah, I started off with making graphics from paint when I played Neopets long time ago then I stopped and then just got back into it. I was mostly inspired by Aethereality.

Very naughty me started off by stealing layouts and editing off the credits when I was 8 years old
Although doing that taught me so much about making my own. I gradually picked up html from all the things I stole, and I learnt tables through creating them with msfront page, when that disappeared I had to work on all my old codes in the beggining on notepad to create new stuff, until I'd basically remembered most of the codes. I learnt how to do images from literally messing around on photoshop. No tutorials there.

I did most of the learning myself actually, with of course help from my good friends. It took me a while to get everything right, but it was worth all that time. And definitely Celestial-Star and all the other big sites like Aethereality helped me as well xD

Mostly on the tuts on LiveJournal for icons(especially the ones by
Almateria
and
inquisitory
)my icons are parcially influenced by them~
and i just learned PS by myself really..its very easy for a dummy like moi
but i suggest u look for tuts on the net cause its clearer and it takes less time
(learning PS-all of it throughly- took me about half a year
)some good sites are:
good-tutorials.com (i think its spelt like that),here, LJ,komet-tails.net,and
here
im sure it took mnost of u less time.
