What inspired u to the world of graphics?

I can't give an exact time of when it happened but I can tell you what I was doing when I decided I wanted to try my hand at graphics and web design.  I had only just started exploring the Internet and came across a site called Magitek Designs.  I absolutely loved the site and all the layouts~  They were more simple than some of the other layouts I'd seen but I loved them so much that I decided to try my hand at making some.  Pange's work was an inspiration to me for so long. x3

Similarly, I decided to take my studies of web design to the next level when I wandered across Celestial Star. XD

Well, It started awhile back. But I was to lazy, and could not afford photshop. Just this year, I was on a forum, and everyone was into Graphic Desgin. I requested alot of things on there, and apparently got tired. I wanted to have my own personiallty in my graphics. So I researched, found tutorials, and downloaded a free trial of photoshop. Then 5 months ago I finally got Photoshop CS2 for my birthday. And thats how I'm here today.

And I did.I have taken a long break from blending and slid off into the world of dolling (pixel,not barbie or Kiss)
but started blending again when i joined the new britney board a few months back.

My graphics obsession began when I started experimenting on paint. Ironically, I was better at cutting out images then than I am now ^^; My graphics were very amateur and had no style at all to them XD Then I found a program called the GIMP. I've used it ever since.

hm... i got into it after playing teripets.com, one of the avatar artists/graphic designs made css based layouts for herself through paint shop pro. i was so overtaken with the idea of photo manipulation that i decided that i had to be just like her. gradually, i studied and studied her css codes that she made for herself and such, and i learned basic css/html. (over the course of five months or so ;P) and now, i've recently taken up the graphics part of it (before i got my own psp  i was actually craving graphic design), and now i'm slowly practicing. :D

I watched amatures on quizilla.com make easy layouts for the homepages, and my mom had paint shop, so I just started making graphics and stuff...Im only 13, and not that good, but im taking web design in high school in like 3 months and im excited! I can finally learn how make good layouts

I didnt know about photoshop untill about a year ago when there was a project that needed PS in a way,
and i waz stuck cuz i dint kno PS then untill my friend told me there waz and that this site had lotsa good tuts about PS (basically that was how i knew about this site)

Minitokyo and Egao! Distant Destiny inspired me to the world of graphics. When I don't have yet Adobe Photoshop, I was really desperate to make graphics, even though they're ugly. I always look for Adobe Photoshop softwares in malls, computer shops, etc. I was really obsessed that time. And finally, I have my copy of Adobe Photoshop!
But I became attached to site coding first than designing layouts.

I was bored today and Googled "sakuracafe.org" and stumbled upon this forum post. I would like to thank the topic opener for once being a fan of Sakura Cafe. I am the original founder of the Cardcaptor Sakura fansite (later co-owned with a friend named Lenners), and went by the name of Cherrie. I am very surprised to have read your post, but it brought back many joyful memories of the site. As you mentioned, the domain the site was hosted on was hacked or something regarding a virus. Lenners and I had planned to bring back Sakura Cafe but we both got lazy and eventually lost interest.

What inspired me to graphics was similar to your experience. I was awed by the awesome layouts I have seen on many anime websites and had hope of building my own anime fansite, hoping that it would grow to have a large fanbase.

I have stopped designing for a few years. Now that I have entered university and some school clubs, I have started designing posters and websites for the clubs I have joined.
