I'm having a problem and unfortunately I probably won't get the help in time, but I guess I can try anyway. I'm making a website on dreamweaver for school and I did as you said and just copy and pasted the notepad html into dreamweaver. Everything was going fine, until I added the content part. The content started far to low on the content area than wanted, so I tried the padding-top:0px thing which didn't do anything; it remained in the same area. Then as I expanded the content I noticed it was moving upwards to it's designated place as more was added so I figured the problem was solved. Unfortunately once a certain amount of content
was added it just overlapped the table and messed it all up (especially at the bottom where it did not repeat the background; I couldn't get a screenshot of this for some reason though). I can give you the coding, and an image of what happened. Sadly, I can not upload the page it's on because it's all saved on my hard drive and the images aren't uploaded.
The project is due tomorrow but I guess I'll have to just hand it in with this problem if I can't get help tonight. Thank you in advance, and here is the info.

Tables won't help you here. You're going to need to use PHP Includes or iframe. Personally, I recommend PHP includes, but if your host doesn't support PHP, then you might have to revert to frames.

PHP Includes

thank you blackstone for responding, im 99% positive that freewebs doesnt allow psp, because i have tried the psp thing, and it will only show up as codes, it wont show the page. and ive also been told to not use iframes, because they dont show up transparent in all web browsers. so i was thinking about doing a div layout. again first time making that, so im trying to figure out how to make one of them using paint shop pro 8. anyone know any good tutorials?
