General Info

The theme of this week is going to be: "Ataraxia / Tranquility".
Size: Min-width - 300px; Max-width: 500px; Min-height: 50px; Max-height: 200px.
Submissions: Deadline - October 13th, 1PM GMT;  Max 1 entry per person.
Programs: No restrictions.
Animations: Optional.

Original work only, if you are found copying or stealing others work your entry will be removed and you will be banned for the next 5 SOTWs. After a second offense you will be permanently banned from all future SOTWs.


Voting Rules

1. Members can't vote for their own signature.
2. Deadline is one week from now.


Schedule

Submissions Begins:  November 10th, 1PM GMT.
Submissions Finish/Voting Begin: November 17th, 1PM GMT.
Voting Finishes: November 24th, 1PM GMT.

Finishing time subject to change, voting start will be adjusted accordingly, but voting time will not be changed

Also, I never got much response on this idea, so I've added a poll, how do you feel about the winners of each SOTW picking the next weeks theme?

Hmmm... the winner picking the theme would be interesting, though it could cause a problem in that the themes might not be entirely appropriate or feasible. I'm not sure.... It might also make a gap between the selection of the winner and the starting of the next SOTW, depending on how often that particular person visits AN and how quickly they can think of a theme.

I'm going to try and enter this one. O.o I'm not the best at making something based on a theme, but I'm going to try, heh.

Already solved that issue, I had thought the exact same thing, so I came up with the idea that the person who won the past weeks SOTW picks the theme for the next SOTW, ie Black Cinderella won last weeks SOTW, so she'll pick the next theme, giving her 2 weeks to pick the theme, it allows plenty of time for her to come online, choose a theme and I decide whether it is suitable or not. The winner of this SOTW would then pick the theme for the SOTW in 4 weeks time. :D

what does it mean by ataraxia.. i searched for it in dictionary couldn't find.. tranquility means calmness so I hope I've made the sign right..>-<

Ataraxia is a greek word, it means the same thing as tranquility, so yes, your entry was correct.
