Skinning + different directories
« on: August 24, 2006, 11:09:24 AM »

Hello!!
I did the skinning tutorial at http://www.tutorialtastic.co.uk/page/skinning_your_website and I just worked fine, except for my other php files that were in a other directory. I can see the text thats in that file but he is not opening my css file ( I think) If you want to take a look you must follow this link and then click at the READ boxes:

http://tutorials.all3.nl/html.php

I hope that you understand me and can help me because Im out of ideas and if you have any further questions.. you can always ask me

(Sorry for my bad english,  but im dutch)

It looks like you forgot to include a preceding slash somewhere before the address to your skins. For example, you have this:

skins/1/style.css

instead of this:

/skins/1/style.css

Maybe try searching around in your skinning files and see if you can find something like that?

Okay, I'm glad you got it working!

Actually, it wasn't that stupid. I do that a lot as well. It's easy to forget such a little character, and I don't think that the tutorial that you used included it all the time, so it wasn't really your fault. O.o
