serif layout tut

I have serif software, and i've been trying to learn how to make a layout but to no avail, if anyone knows any tutorial about making layout using serif software, please tell me.

Generally, the basic tools are the same, so if you find a tutorial for Photoshop or PSP, then you'll probably be able to use it for Serif software as well. Mainly, you're just going to have to experiment and see what you can come up with, otherwise find a tutorial by searching Google.

Making a layout is simple. The basics still go (the only things you won't be able to do are cool filters and brushes--I suggest The Gimp for that), and then once you're done, slice (IF neccissary) and "Export Optimizer", choose file type, choose file parameters, and hit "Export", choose a file name, and hit "Save". Ta da. Layout in Serif's Photoplus. =)
