Making realistic ribbons and swirly things in photoshop
you do NOT want to see my lame attempts.
A friend of mine suggested pen tool to make the swirl and then stroking it. Then adding a gradient to it, making parts partly transparent and then burning/dodging parts of it.
I do appoligize for not responding before but I will try to answer all the questions

Hahahah, Axia, I didn't know it was you at first... or I didn't remember o .o
Keep up the good work, maybe the top banner looks a bit blurry, since I guess you made it bigger than it was before (images usually look blurry when made bigger).
Yes dear its me (hugs and kisses to you, my master of skins!) Yeah I know about the blurryness, it's one of the reasons that I am changing the layout.

ahhh Ragnarok resources! Well, just as Melfina said, the banner is too way blurry. Also, when i clicked the navigation, it be target="_blank", in other word, new page
That's cause it isn't iframed. The new layout will be.

-squees- YAY RO skins!! <33 I really like the site. Just one suggestion: I have to scroll sideways (horizontal) even with a 1024x768 screen res, so you might want to make that a little smaller. And the sohee skin link doesn't work ;_;
Yeah cause the current coding sucks...and all skin links should now work. It turned out that I was still missing skins onto the main drive of the server

I think the second layout image looks great^^ right now there current layout you have now it too white but it has an angelic look to it. i really like the second one though good job^^ i can't wait to see the site when you're finished:)
Its gonna be beautiful...when I can get it all coded properly.
Even though the coding and layout are 'crap' it is fully functional and I do encourage FEEDBACK.
Okay, so I tweaked it (okay I looked at someone source code, that had a similar design to mine) and I fixed the issue with the floating out there links!
My new problem is now nothing will show up in the news section. Now I use Firefox, so it is possible that I boo boo'ed with that...

As much as I wanted to do this, yes. Cause I have tried everything, and it either goes right back to the bottom of my background, or nothing happens and there are no changes.
body { text-align: center; } #wrapper { //ID or class of your wrapper '.' for class, '#' for ID width ---px; //Width of your table, or layout. margin: auto; text-align: left; }
Let me know if you have any troubles or problems. ^^
Yeah I guess I don't understand the part about the wrapper. When you are saying id or class, what are you talking about? This is most likely the reason that I hate css so much. Width I am assuming you are talking about width=1024, and the margin and text-align is the way you have it.
Sorry to be a bother, but I have been working on this for over 3 weeks and I feel like I am banging my head. I gotta get this working, so that I can start the enormous work of recoding my skins, and making up the pages for the renders.
Well I got the thing mostly coded now...the only problem I have now, is that for other screen resolution sizes my coding for the links and my main section that will have the iframe won't stay. I had it perfect in IE at work, where my screen res was 1024x768 but then I get home where my screen ress is 1152x864 and guess what moved...
I dont' want to upload the changes until I fix it so that I can either a) keep it one damn size without moving or b) make it fluid for any screen ress size.

Okay, so now I got it coded. How do I prevent the main page from scrolling, and creating extra background at the bottom. I think its position="fixed" at the end of my image, but I wasn't sure.
