with this one I didn't alter the color. just used a few blending modes, blurred it, and used a couple grunge brushes. I saw that I need more knowledge with text, so I let it slide this time. I wanted the grunge to be noticed, but not to cover her entire face.Coulda done a bit better. Likee likee?
Thank ya for pointing that out. Honestly I had second thoughts about if i should add text or not, especially for #2. I wanted them to be really good, and others do very well with fonts on avatars, but i see it only works on certain occasions.
As for the poor quality, since I don't have Photoshop, there's no median filter to improve the base. My Paint Shop Pro does though, but the trial version is over :x
Yes! I've finally made some of my best icons yet. they all weren't very hard, since having help from the tutorials. My first time creating graphics from scratch using GIMP. Yes, GIMP :lol:
