am i counted as newbie?LOL

i dont like gassy drinks at first cos of the burning sensation and oversweet taste.then i learnt that its actually almost half filled with carbonic acid, which it actually quite acidic, and that the sugar was there to neaurtalise the sour taste of the acid.what actually happens is the gas(carbon dioxide) reacts chemically with water to make carbonic acid of low ph(means very acidic).the sugar is added in in large amounts to make it sweet.imagine making a sour drink sweet, the amount of sugar needed

so i dont like them now not only cos of the taste but also the thought of drinking acid and sugar isn't very tempting.
