Layout idea

Okay, first. I hope I am putting this in the right category. And if I am not, I am SO sorry! I am having a dilehma(sp). I want to make a new layout for my website, but I dunno what picture or whatever that I want to use. I kinda want to use a cool game graphic. But I am not sure. I have a picture if Ashe & Fran from FF XII but I am still deciding. Anyone have good pictures that they think I can use? Thanks!

Hmmmms... Yea I can understand where you're coming from I always struggle with images when I'm designing *DOH* Well... I don't have any pictures but you know the new Final Fantasy: Advent Children movie has AMAZING graphics... I'm not exactly sure who has good images, but you can look around graphic sites that have Image Gallerys. Like the Aethereality gallery (check out the PNG section too o_<) or the Digi K gallery o_< plus they affiliate their galleries... So that means go look around their affiliates too ^^

you can try googling for images from magna carta/war of genesis... both of which are by the same artist whose name escapes me at the moment. his work is very pretty.

you can also try looking for the games xiah & shaiya. and the classic MMORPG art - world of warcraft, lineage II, guild wars... all have nice art as well. however, be careful with the copyright on these images. i emailed guild wars about image use on a layout for a site that is not game related and they basically handed me a link to the terms of use page which stated yes, you can use our art, but not for commercial use and you cannot remove any copyright information. i think that's pretty much the norm though

Hmmmms well the thing about Google imaging is the fact that you can't really give credit... I personally like to download artbooks or go to image gallerys that way I can give proper credit. Just a thought!

yeah the image search thing is not always good >< i meant use google just to look for sites like this one.

ahhh i see. that works if you cant find any image galleries ^^;
