I really like the banner image. I like the flame effect you've got going on, and the link effects within the banner are pretty neat, too. I like how the purple contrasts with the reds and oranges of the banner, but I feel like the background is kind of busy since the diamonds are kind of small and their edges aren't smooth. But then again, that's just my personal preference. Overall, good job!

I really like the main banner and the awesome linking effect you have on that banner. However I think the purple diamond background is very plain and it doesn't fit well at all with the theme. I actually think it would look very nice with a light orange solid background. Nothing fancy because the banner itself is already really fancy. The solid background will make the details stand out more.

The main banner is very nice and though I think the content texts are kind of hard to read.  The diamond background really kill my eyes.  I do not mean that it literary did, but what I am saying that it was too busy and I just blank out.  However the contrast of the colors are good.
