Hey, can someone help please?

Hey, i just downloaded a layout, and changed the index in notepad, but im unsure on how to get it onto my website?
im using angelfire (free host), i have my website set out in frames already but i dont know how to change it without losing everything inside my site? i have ftp, if thats needed to upload all the parts from the zip file? =/ sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. .

I don't know if it's the right place to ask...probably not, it might belong under coding or something...but I digress.

I've never used angelfire, but I think most free hosts are the same. I don't know what you already have in your site, but it shouldn't be too hard to keep it--especially if you're using frames. I used to run a site on a free host and I used frames because it didn't support PHP. As long as the new layout you're using is also a frame layout, there will be minimal editing. Just edit the pages with content to change the background image and the layout page to have the new images.

If you're switching to a div or table layout, though, it'll be a little bit of a pain to get all the pages to match, just because you'll have to put the new coding on every page. If you're going to do this, I'd reccommend copying the content you already have into a different document and then pasting it into the new layout.
