Download counter help

Alright, I read this tutorial oh how to add a download counter to my layout's page. Thje script simply adds a .php?id1 at the end of the file. Now the problem is I'm using fclick and my links look like this:

fclick/fclick.php?id1

and if it adds:

fclick/fclick.php?id1.php?id1

the link don't work.

I can't use fclick's downloads display thing, cos it's a javascript and it looks like this:

I had to type it without < cos it wouldn't display the code. :shock: I don't know how to insert this into the script or how to change it.
I want to keep my fclick, cos it gives me full statistics, so I wonder if anyone can help me with this or should I stop using fclick?

isn't fclick link is like this: http://yoursite.com/fclick/fclick.php?fid=yourid?

Nope, either flick/fclick.php?id=ID or fclick/fclick.php?ID

oh i also use fclick and the link fclick/fclick.php?fid=ID works
