Div Layout request (cannot be paid TT^TT Soo sorry)

Well not really a request...well maybe it is. I have the graphics made but I just can't seem to get it coded. I did the tutorial Melfina wrote, and it was great, but I still couldn't do it. So I'm putting in a request. I don't care the colors but here is the image that is the header. It has the navigation and stuff so I just need to get everything else worked out. I can't offer money. And it would be a great help. I would love to pay people. But my dad only just got a job, I have a horse and a guinea pig, so money isn't really an option (and not lying when I say that I would love to pay, I just can't) I'll understand that if people need to be paid then ignore this. Please don't tell me that it isn't likely. I'm giving people the benifite of the doupt and plus it puts me in an even more depressive mood (we haven't reached coding in out Digital Media class yet, and I don't think we'll get there until like spring)

If someone does this and needs help with anything in my ablity I will do it no questions asked. Well I hope someone can do this for me, and credit will be given ^-^

Cool graphics~  I think I'll attempt it.  I'm a little rusty but I think I can manage it!  So is that the actual size you want the images to be or do you have a larger picture?

Thats the actaual size ^_^ it doesnt' have to be great it just needs to serve the purpose of having links and things. TRT

I fail at life, seriously.  I tried and tried to code that into a layout but the graphics were too complicated.  I couldn't alter them in any way to make it into a layout. *sighs*

You'll have to find someone with more skill than me. ^^;

wish you would have given a more conventional graphic though...

I just tried it and I think the image turns really pixely. If you want, I can use the same images and just do a new blend and such of it and turn it into a complete new layout.

Your image doesn't lend well to a layout in that the background design can't repeat. In order for anyone to be able to effectively code you a layout, you need to take into consideration more than just a small graphic piece. You need to consider font families, sizes and colours, how the fonts will look against the background, are they readable?

You need to consider element positioning, at a ranges of different screen sizes. Do things look too cramped? Or would they look too spaced out on large resolutions? What about mobile browsers?

What about the page background? Will you create an image which can blend into your current image that also properly repeats? Will you just have a sharp edge cut-off with a solid colour background? Or what about even fading the image? May I also suggest... horses and anime do not go together all that well, while the image is visually attractive, your centre pieces clash.

Consider all of these when designing a layout. They're not the only issues you need to take into consideration, but they're a few. Answer these specifics and I'll be able to code that layout for you in no time.

None taken, it's just pretty much logical thinking. Pre-plan everything and you'll not waste much time during the design period.

Although you have a point. It was still preety harsh though @__@. I don't really plan on anything when I make designs, it just usually comes up to my head or something
