div layout help

Ok have done my layout according to the div.layout tutorial. But now I'm very confused about the coding part @_@. Also the tutorial said not to expand your image, but there is so much white space on my layout that it kind of looks weird. Um... I'm hoping to get some suggestions for what I can do with the blank space. I'll add the type in later, but if someone can help me with the html step by step I'd be soooo greatful! I need this layout for my manga site, so I want it to look nice! Thank you!!!

Well, I would suggest filling in teh white-space with graphics, if you mean the white-space in the header. If you don't want to do that, then you could always add another div and put some links there or something, but it might just add more confusion if you did that...

That's a great idea! Actually the white space to left of the picture I'm saving to do an update log, It's to the right I was thinking of. But I could fill it in with design! Thank you for the idea ^_^. Do you think anyone could help me with the html portion like linking. I'm still having a hard time with html. I mean I know how to add background and stuff and images but the rest is so confusing @_@.
