Cellpadding & Spacing using CSS?
« on: August 24, 2006, 12:16:20 PM »

I've just spent like an hour on Google trying to find a way to set cellpadding and cellspacing for the <TABLE> tag, but to no avail.

Does anyone know how to do this? I've successfully removed all elements from my tables except for these two.

I don't think that there is a way. I've never come across it, and I've been using CSS for years now... o.o Of course, it could be hidden in that obscure corner of the web that can't be found except with excessive digging, but if it is, then it's more than likely a very old tag, not working on many browsers.

Oi, I've been coding for a long time as well, which is why it baffled me so much as to why I couldn't find it... maybe a way to do it in CSS will be added.

Oh well, glad, at least, to know I'm not the only on suffering with my tables.

there is no way. i've tried it before. i have topstyle 3 (it's like a css program thing that lists everything. i dont' really use it but it does not list cellspacing or cellpadding)
I, also put cellpadding="" and cellspacing="" on like every table. well some tables i don't but they still have the value of 0 and 0.
