Butterfly Wing Effect

This is something I learned a really long while back, I thought I'd make a tutorial of it for others to learn as well ^^
Okay first we need a simple image of a butterfly. This is the image I'm using:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/monwibig.jpg
Select the Magic Wand Tool
and click outside area of the butterfly then right click and select "Select Inverse" like so:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/003.gif
After you've done that CTRL + C (copy the layer) and create a new image about 470x350 and fill the background to Black. Then paste your butterfly.
So it should look like this so far:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/004.gif
Now go to Image>> Adjustments >> Brightness/Contrast and use these settings:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/005.gif
Now take youre Rectangular Marquee Tool
And select and delete the body of the butterlfly so this is what it should look like so far:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/007.gif
Alrighty now go to Filter>> Blur>> Gaussian Blur and select these settings:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/008.gif
Now go to Filter>> Blur>> Radial Blur and select the following settings:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/009.gif
Now your image should look like this:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/010.gif
Alright now create a new layout and fill it with any colour you like (I used #BE70F0) and change the blending option to "Color" and you should get something like this:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/011.gif
Now, flatten all the layers (SHIFT + CTRL + E) then select the image and copy it (CTRL + C). Now go to Filter>> Blur>> Motion Blur and select these settings:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y204/minagisw/butterfly/012.gif
Now paste the image (CTRL + V) and change the blending options of this layer to "Multiply". Heres my finished result:
