I think it's very nice but the layout takes too long to load^^;

the layout is very angelic, i love the images you used and the blue shades you used.But i dont think theres much for you to improve on... maybe next time dont use such a light shade of blue for the text :P but other than that i love it

The main links on the images of the layout are tiny and rather hard to read. They are also obscure, so it might take some people a while to find them, and I know when I can't find links I just leave the site.

Otherwise it looks very nice. ^^ The second image doesn't appear to be loading though, so I can't really say much. >.<

The text at the top of the content and navagation is hard to read sometimes, especially when it's darker, but once it gets into the regular background, it's perfect.

Thanks. That's usually my problem...everything takes too long to load and the fonts are hard to read XP...the last layout was really hard to read.

Anyone know how to make the layout load faster?

Slicing doesn't help a layout load faster, because it still has to load the same amount of stuff.

Anyways, if you compress the images more, it should help the page loads faster. It will make the images lower in quality, though. Most of the time it's not too noticable, but if you compress the image too much, it will be noticeable.

Slicing doesn't help a layout load faster, because it still has to load the same amount of stuff.

Actually, contrary to popular belief, slicing images for a layout actually slows it down. Even if the sliced images assume the same file size as the single large image, the multiple http requests for the images slow it down, instead of a single request, there is several, which each take a few milliseconds, when combined they amount to a few seconds extra load time.

So really slicing images is a waste of time, also the additional mark-up used to position them all further makes the technique redundant.

Oh the irony of it all. >.< It's so strange how things like that can happen, isn't it? I wonder what made the first person who ever said that slicing helps speed the process up, say it? I know how it continued, though...

When I first started graphics, I just believed what people told me, xD I actually believed that slicing did help up until recently, when Vangs actually told me it wasn't, and it made much more sense that way. O.o The only reason I would do it now is to help the compression. With Paintshop Pro, the compression job is terrible, so I have to slice it sometimes to make the graphics not look terrible. O.o

Anyways, this is rather off topic. o.o I'm going to stop talking now, hehe.

It looks good at first glance, so it gives an overall good impression, however:

- I dislike big images in height as you need to scroll down to see the content.
- The color for the text links is a bit hard to read with that background color.
- The navigation links at the top (home, about ayame, etc.) are a bit hard to see too, I didn't notice at first.

But as I said, it looks good

ahhh i like blue and bleach, but i think that the links is invisible and maybe no one will notice the existence. But the layout is nice
