Advanced Signature

[Frozen]

Hope Melfina dosent mind...but I made a tutorial!

Here is a tutorial on how to create an advanced Sig.

Before you start with anything...put on some music you like and then start up Photoshop :P

Advanced Signature Tutorial!

1. First you create a new document with the size of 500 x 125 (RGB Colors)

Fill the background with black.

2. Now we create the background. I used this picture:

3. Take the Magic wand tool:

Select the 3D render, so that you have select ONLY the render.

4. Copy the selected render (ctrl + c)

5. Paste the file on your Signature Document.

As you can see the render is bigger then the signature. Now you have to move the render up to the top right corner:

6. Now dublicate the render and place it in the middle of the Sig.

7. Dublicate the render once again, and rotate it to fill the black part at the left side of the sig.

Yes I know it looks messy right now, But dont worry.

Its very important that you DO NOT merge the layers with eachother.

Grab your blur tool.

Use the soft edges brush, with a pixel width of 27.

Now blur the edges of the 3 renders. Not to much!

8. Now lets add some brushing to it!
Create a new layer atop of all of the other layers.
Take your brush tool. Use a soft edge brush, with a pixel width of around 57. Use a white color for the brushing.

Now make random white balls on the signature. Again nothing to much.

9. Take your smudge tool.

10. Take this brush:


If you have photoshop 6 or less, then you dont have that brush, but find something simular.

11. Now smudge the white balls, so you get something like a starburst effect:

Thats the background, but it still looks too plain. We need a cool border!

12. Create a new layer atop of the other layers.

13. use the polygon tool, and make a selection like this:

14. Right-click on the selection and choose "Select inverted"

15. Fill the Selection with black and then deselect the selection.

16. Double click on the layer, so that you are in the blending options.

Use theese settings:

Lower the Opacity, to around 80.
Your sig should look like this:

17. Select the inner side of the border, create a new layer, and make an black, center stroke of 1 pix.

18. Now your sig should look something like this:

We are almost finished...we just need to add some effects.

19. Go to the border layer, and select the inner side of the border. then create a layer under the border layer. It looks something like this.

20. Fill the layer with scanlines.

21. Grab the Blur tool again:

22. Blur the scanlines away, but not the whole thing, just enough so it looks cool.

23. Almost done, just add some text and you are finished!

Yep, but the problem is that good-tutorials gives much much visits (too many!), when I submitted my tutorials I had like 1,000 visits a day only from good-tutorials @_@ that would be really a pain for my bandwith
